What Marks Relaxation applies?
The SBI Asha Scholarship provides relaxation in the minimum academic requirement for eligible applicants belonging to SC/ST or persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD).
The standard minimum requirement is 75% marks or 7.5 CGPA. However, the following relaxations may apply:
- SC/ST applicants: 10% relaxation — minimum 65% marks or 6.50 CGPA.
- PwBD applicants: 15% relaxation — minimum 60% marks or 6.00 CGPA.
These relaxations are applicable only to applicants who can provide valid supporting documents.
How do I claim a Relaxation?
To claim the applicable relaxation, you must upload a valid certificate along with your application:
- SC/ST applicants: A valid caste certificate.
- PwBD applicants: A valid disability certificate issued by the competent authority.
The details in the certificate should match the information provided in the application. If the required certificate is not submitted, or if the applicant is unable to provide valid proof of eligibility, the standard minimum marks requirement may apply.
Applicants are advised to check the document requirements carefully before submitting their application.
