Step-by-Step Guide: How to Verify Your Aadhaar Number

Step 1: Open the Aadhaar Verification Section

• After creating your account and signing in, go to the Aadhaar Verification section.

• You will see your Aadhaar details page.

Step 2: Click "Verify"

• Next to the Aadhaar Number field, click the Verify button.

• This will redirect you to the Digi-Locker verification page.

Step 3: Enter Your Aadhaar Number

• On the DigiLocker page, enter your 12-digit Aadhaar Number carefully.

• Double-check the number before proceeding.

Step 4: Click "Next"

• After entering your Aadhaar number, click the Next button.

Step 5: Enter the OTP

• An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to the mobile number linked with your Aadhaar.

• Enter the OTP in the space provided.

Step 6: Complete the Verification

• Click Verify or Continue after entering the OTP.

• Wait a few seconds while Digi-Locker verifies your Aadhaar.

Step 7: Sign In to DigiLocker (If Required)

• If you already have a DigiLocker account, enter your 6-digit Security PIN and click Done.

• If you do not have a DigiLocker account, follow the on-screen instructions to create one.

Step 8: Give Your Consent

• Read the consent statement carefully.

• Tick the required checkboxes to allow DigiLocker to share your Aadhaar details with the scholarship portal.

Step 9: Click "Allow"

• After selecting all the required checkboxes, click the Allow button.

• This gives permission to securely verify your Aadhaar details.

Step 10: Aadhaar Verification Completed

• Once the verification is successful, you will be redirected back to the scholarship portal.

• The Aadhaar section will show as Verified.

Important Tips

• Make sure your Aadhaar is linked to an active mobile number to receive the OTP.

• Enter your Aadhaar number and OTP carefully.

• Do not share your OTP or DigiLocker Security PIN with anyone.

• Read the consent statement before clicking Allow.

• Wait until the verification process is complete before closing the browser.

• If verification fails, check your internet connection and try again.
