Students who were awarded the SBI Asha Scholarship in the previous academic year and are eligible to apply for renewal must complete the renewal application through the designated scholarship portal.

During the renewal process, certain details from the previous application may appear as pre-filled information. However, applicants must carefully review the pre-filled details and complete the remaining sections of the renewal application.

Pre-Filled Details in the Renewal Application

The following information may be pre-filled based on the details provided in the previous year's application:

  1. First Name & Last Name
  2. Family Income
  3. Date of Birth (DOB)
  4. Gender
  5. Caste
  6. PwD Status
  7. Parent Status
  8. Current Course – Institution Name, State/District
  9. Family Details – Relationship and Occupation

Applicants should carefully verify all pre-filled information and ensure that the details are correct.

Important: The pre-filled information does not mean that the entire application has been completed automatically.

Fresh Submission of Supporting Documents

For the renewal application, applicants are required to submit the necessary supporting documents afresh, even if the same documents were submitted during the previous year's application.

The pre-filled information mentioned above should not be considered a replacement for the required documents.

Applicants should upload the applicable and latest documents, for example, documents such as:

  • Bonafide Certificate confirming current enrolment
  • Latest Fee Receipt
  • Latest Marksheet/Academic Record, wherever applicable
  • Other documents specifically requested in the renewal application

Important Instructions for Renewal Applicants

Applicants are advised to:

  • Carefully check all pre-filled details.
  • Correct any information that is inaccurate, wherever the portal permits.
  • Complete all remaining sections of the renewal application.
  • Upload the required documents afresh.
  • Ensure that the documents uploaded are valid, latest, and clearly readable.
  • Follow the prescribed renewal guidelines while completing the application.
  • Review the complete application before submitting it.
