Students applying for the SBI Asha Scholarship may be required to enter their academic performance in terms of Secured Marks, Maximum Marks, and Percentage. If your academic record is provided in grades or another grading format instead of marks or percentage, please follow the instructions below.

1. Check Your Academic Document

First, check your marksheet or academic record to determine whether your institution has provided:

  • Grades

  • CGPA/GPA

  • Grade points

  • Percentage

  • Marks obtained and maximum marks

If your document already provides the official percentage or marks, enter those details as mentioned in the document.

2. If Only Grades or CGPA Are Provided

If your academic document contains only grades and does not provide the equivalent marks or percentage, do not independently convert the grades into marks or percentage unless your institution has provided an official conversion method.

The conversion may vary from one institution or university to another.

3. Request an Official Conversion from Your Institution

Students should contact their respective school, college, university, or examination authority and request an official conversion of their grades into the marks/percentage format required by the scholarship application.

You can request the institution to provide:

  • Official grade-to-percentage conversion details, or

  • An official certificate/letter stating the equivalent marks or percentage, or

  • Any other officially issued document confirming the converted marks/percentage.

4. Enter the Details in the Scholarship Application

Once you receive the required information from your institution, enter the officially provided marks and percentage in the relevant fields of the scholarship application.

Please ensure that:

  • The information entered is accurate.

  • The marks/percentage are based on the conversion provided by your institution.

  • The details can be supported by an official academic document if required during verification.

Important Note

Students should not use their own formula or an unofficial online grade-to-percentage converter to calculate the marks or percentage unless specifically permitted by their institution or the scholarship guidelines.

The respective institution/academic authority should be contacted for the official conversion because the grading and conversion system may differ between institutions.
