Proof of Identity and essential documents

To complete the SBI Asha Scholarship application successfully, applicants are required to submit a valid student identity document for verification.

To complete the SBI Asha Scholarship application successfully, applicants are requested to upload a valid student identity document for verification. Institution-issued documents are accepted for this purpose. Where available, applicants may also choose to upload a government-issued identity document.

Where a government-issued identity document (such as an Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, or Voter ID) is available, it may be uploaded in the field of "proof of identity". However, in case, the government issued identity document is unavailable, you may attach any one of the following:

Applicants may upload any one of the following institution-issued documents as proof of "proof of identity":

• Student ID Card issued by the institution.
• Admission Letter duly signed and stamped by the competent authority.
• Current Academic Year Fee Receipt duly signed and stamped by the competent authority.

Important Points:

• The document must be clear, legible, and valid.
• The document should be issued by the applicant's current educational institution.
• Where applicable, the document should bear the official seal and signature of the competent authority.
• Applicants are required to upload only one of the above-listed documents for student identity verification ,in case, any government issued identity document is unavailable. 

Please ensure that the uploaded document meets the above requirements to avoid delays during the application verification process.

Note:

A Bonafide Certificate serves as a document confirming an applicant's current enrolment at their respective educational institution & is separate from "proof of identity". Please note that this field is MANDATORY.
