How your amount is decided, and applying under more than one category?

How is my scholarship amount decided?

You don't choose the amount — it is set automatically by the category you qualify for, using the figures in the table above. For example, a qualifying undergraduate receives the undergraduate amount, and a qualifying IIM student receives the IIM amount.

For the higher-education categories, the form will also ask for your total course fee and any additional educational expenses — such as hostel, books, equipment, examination, and travel costs — where applicable. This helps the Programme understand your overall need.

Can I apply under more than one category?

No — you apply under a single category only: the one that matches your current class or course. When you run the Eligibility Checker, the eligibility engine identifies the correct category for you, so you don't apply under the wrong one.
