I have a study gap. Can I still apply?

A short gap typically does not disqualify you, as long as you meet all the other eligibility criteria for your category. If your gap is longer or unusual, confirm the current cycle's rules on the Platform or with support before applying.

Are diploma students eligible?

The Programme is designed for school students (Classes 9–12), undergraduate and postgraduate students at premier institutions, medical / IIT / IIM students, and eligible overseas postgraduates. Diploma courses are generally not covered.

My institution isn't in the Top 300 NIRF list. Can I still apply for UG/PG?

For the UG and PG categories, enrolment at a qualifying premier institution (Top 300 NIRF, or NAAC 'A' and above) is required. If your institution doesn't qualify, you may not be eligible for those categories — the Eligibility Checker will confirm this for you.
