Who can apply?

The SBI Asha Scholarship is open to Indian nationals who are currently studying in an eligible class or course, meet the minimum marks requirement for their category, and whose family income is within the limit for that category.

Eligibility is not one-size-fits-all — each of the seven categories (School, UG, PG, Medical, IIT, IIM, and Overseas) has its own combination of qualifying course, institution, marks, and income rules.

How do I know which category I fit?

Before you register, use the Eligibility Checker on the Platform. It asks a few quick questions and tells you which category you qualify for, so you don't start an application under the wrong one.

Where can I see the exact requirements?

The three things that decide eligibility each have their own article: “Minimum marks required”, “Family income limit”, and “Which institutions qualify for higher-education categories”. Reservation benefits and marks relaxations are in the Reservation & Relaxations folder.
