What are the minimum marks required?

To be eligible for the SBI Foundation Asha Scholarship, applicants must have secured the required academic performance in their previous academic year.

For the School category (Classes 9–12), students must have obtained at least 75% marks in their last qualifying examination. For College categories, applicants should have secured a minimum percentage of 75% or CGPA of 7.5 in the previous academic year. Applicants should always enter their marks or CGPA exactly as mentioned on their official marksheet, without converting or rounding off the values.

Marks Relaxation for Reserved Categories

Eligible applicants belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) or Scheduled Tribes (ST) are entitled to a 10% relaxation in the minimum academic requirement. They must have secured at least 65% marks or a minimum CGPA of 6.50.

Applicants belonging to the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category are eligible for a 15% relaxation. They must have obtained at least 60% marks or a minimum CGPA of 6.00. To claim these relaxations, applicants must submit the prescribed valid category or disability certificate during the application process. 

If your institution awards grades in CGPA instead of percentage, your eligibility will be assessed based on the applicable CGPA criteria rather than percentage. Always use the grading format printed on your official marksheet.
