Can I apply on behalf of a school student who is a minor?

Yes, you can. Many school applicants in Classes 9–12 are under the age of 18, so it's completely normal for a parent or guardian to complete or supervise the application on the student's behalf and provide consent where required. That said, it's important to remember that every detail entered in the application, personal information, academic records, and documents,  must belong to the student, not the parent or guardian. The application is evaluated based on the student's own eligibility, so accuracy here matters a great deal.

What should the parent or guardian do?

If you're a parent or guardian assisting with the application, your role is to help ensure the form is filled out accurately using the student's details, not your own. Please double-check that all uploaded documents, such as the marksheet, ID proof, and admission proof, genuinely belong to the student and not to yourself. You'll also need to provide the required consent in the declarations section of the form, confirming that you've reviewed the application on the student's behalf. Taking a little extra time here can help avoid delays or rejections later in the process.
