What do you mean by a "home picture"? I'm currently away from my hometown. So, how do I provide this?

The "home picture" requirement refers to a photograph of your residence as in the address listed as your permanent or family address in the application. It's used during verification to confirm that your stated address and living circumstances genuinely match reality, so it should be an actual picture of the place you or your family live.

If you're not currently in your hometown - for instance, if you're staying in a hostel, PG, or with relatives for studies - there are a few practical ways to go about this. 

You can ask a family member or someone at home to click a picture and share it with you, which you can then upload yourself. If that isn't immediately possible, you could wait until your next visit home and take the picture then, as long as it's uploaded within the application window given to you.

Try to avoid leaving this step for the last moment and planning these in advance, even before you start the rest of your application, can save you from a last-minute scramble.
